1. About us and our service

nextmove operates nextmoveuk.co.uk. We are an online information and introduction service for people exploring UK mortgages. We help you understand your options in general terms and, if you choose, introduce you to FCA-regulated mortgage brokers.

2. We do not provide advice

Any regulated advice, recommendation or mortgage arrangement is provided solely by the FCA-regulated broker you are introduced to. That broker is responsible for the advice they give. You should always obtain regulated advice tailored to your circumstances before entering into any mortgage.

3. Our regulatory status

nextmove is not currently authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not carry out regulated activities. Our role is limited to providing general information and introducing interested users to FCA-regulated brokers, who are responsible for all regulated advice and arranging.

4. How our introductions work

If you submit a quote or enquiry form, you are asking us to introduce you to a mortgage broker. By submitting the form, you agree that:

• your details will be passed to one or more FCA-regulated mortgage brokers (or a broker partner network) so they can contact you about your enquiry;
• a broker may contact you by phone, email or other means using the details you provide;
• we may receive a fee or commission from the broker for introducing you, which does not add any cost to you;
• the introduction is not a recommendation of any particular broker, lender or product.

You provide your consent to this when you submit the form, and you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

We do not guarantee that you will be contacted by a broker, that you will be offered a mortgage, or that any mortgage offered will be on particular terms. Eligibility, rates and lending decisions are entirely a matter for the broker and lender, based on your circumstances and their criteria.

We work to keep our content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, up to date or error-free. Interest rates, lender criteria, government schemes and rules change frequently. Any rates, figures or examples shown are illustrative only and may not reflect the deal available to you.
